Meet Ms. Charlene Shockley, Human Resources & Community Relations for PNE Institute, LLC

Caring for people is what we do best at PsychoNeuroEducational Institute, LLC; and our Human Resources and Community Relations Officer, Charlene Shockley, makes sure to do it right every time! You will often see her smiling face at events around town, including charity events, workshops, and C.A.M.P.’s Disability Fairs that introduce families of children with disabilities to local service providers.

PsychoNeuroEducational Institute, LLC, or PNE Institute, LLC for short, works with a team of professionals and community stakeholders to identify the needs of our community and then set out to find solutions. Dr. Thomas is an Educational Therapist and Interventionist with an extensive background in child and youth issues. She currently teaches graduate Juvenile Justice and Special Education courses for Nova Southeastern University and is a former Associate Professor of Education. Dr. Thomas has an extensive background in direct services to youth with developmental disorders and within the Juvenile Justice system as well as hands-on experience developing programs to support youth-at-risk. Her specialization is in the area of Therapeutic Educational Strategies to help students who are experiencing some kind of learning problem by searching for a root solution (based upon a careful analysis of the student’s learning, cognitive, executive function, and memory capacities and strategies).

Ms. LeTisha Bennett is a Professional Educator and Developmental Interventionist with PNE Institute, LLC

Ms. LeTisha Bennett is a Certified Educator in Georgia with specializations in Brain-Based Learning and Development. She completed her undergraduate degree in Teaching and Education at Berry College and holds professional Endorsement in Reading. Ms. Bennett brings a heart for children and youth and a passion for teaching and education to create unique solutions to learning and developmental issues. Working as part of Collaborative Care Teams, she helps children work through complex challenges that often involve learning, education, emotional state, and behavior.

In addition to her extensive work in the area of education and learning, Ms. Bennett is an accomplished artist and Certified Art Therapy Practitioner. She helps individuals and groups use artistry and creativity for personal learning, growth and development, and to promote self-confidence and overall wellbeing. Ms. Bennett artfully weaves creative and artistic expression into the curriculum to promote brain-based learning.

Dr. Darleen Claire Wodzenski provides services to individuals, families and children as well as professional training and development for educators, juvenile justice workers, and human services professionals. Author and public speaker, she works to promote the learning, growth, and development of all children. Dr. Steve Wodzenski is a holistic practitioner who combines chiropractic, nutrition, kinesiology, trigger point therapy, and bodywork modalities into a streamlined process. A parent and grandparent, he has a great passion for helping families and children. Dr. Wodzenski is a former college and university faculty member as well as CASA volunteer, where he helped children who had been placed in child protective services. He takes an eclectic approach to treating musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction, incorporating physiotherapy and complementary healing therapies.
